Currently working on this one using wget. Hoping I have enough storage! Will give an update when it finishes.

It’s still going! I can’t believe I’ve kept a download going for this long. Hopefully I get to the end of it soon.

STILL going…will keep you updated. It seems to be downloading individual events from a calendar of some kind, so perhaps I should have found a way to exclude that from the download. Anyway, it is still pulling info from the Climate Hub website, so I didn’t accidentally do a bad command that tries to download the entire internet! Hoping it will finish soon, I want to assist with some smaller pieces too.

And good news!! It’s done!! I feel like celebrating, it took 4 days XD but we made it! I will go through the seeding and torrenting resources a bit later today, as I have an assignment to work on - but this can be marked safeguarded.
Update: I have 200MB to spare on my hard drive after downloading all that XD Lucky I didn’t run out!
I opened a Proton drive with 1 TB today and am uploading it all, keeping the folder structure intact, so I can reclaim my hard drive space. The upload is going to take quite awhile longer, but I will keep it on my hard drive until I at least have one copy of it in the cloud.
Does anyone know if I were to zip the folders to upload them, would that mess with being able to upload it as a site when they were later unzipped?

it’s totally fine to zip stuff if you need to, sure. I’d normally prefer .tar.bz2 over .zip just because the tooling is more standardized and readily available (on everything that isn’t windows), but if zip is all you can easily do that’s fine

Thank you, that might save me some time. I didn’t know there was an alternative to zip, but I think I can find out how to do it. I’m learning so much everyday. Thank you! Very much appreciated.
